HabiTerra zeigt fast nichts, was es selbst erfunden hat. Fast alles kommt von Behörden, Wetterdiensten, Sternwarten, Forschungseinrichtungen und einzelnen Menschen, die ihre Arbeit frei zur Verfügung gestellt haben. Diese Seite nennt sie alle — mit Lizenz und Adresse, damit jeder nachschauen kann, woher eine Angabe stammt.
„Nennung Pflicht" heißt: Die Lizenz verlangt die Namensnennung ausdrücklich. Die übrigen Quellen stehen hier, weil es sich gehört.
